About the Event
There are different types of boundaries and each share a set of common goals: to foster personal growth, to promote self-care, and to respect & protect personal needs and the needs of others.
Creating and enforcing boundaries can be intimidating. This workshop explores the what, when, why and how of boundary setting to familiarize youth with a key component of every wellness journey: boundaries.
This series gives youth participants basic yet helpful tools to help manage feelings and emotions in stressful situations. The classes guide youth in building a routine of health that supports overall physical, mental and emotional wellness through the practice of mindfulness, deep breathing, yoga, and education.
