About the Event
The Sleep, Nutrition & Mental Health Workshop teaches youth about the effects of food & rest on overall wellness. Since our mental and physical health are closely interconnected, youth will learn tried & true techniques for restful sleep and discover delicious, healthy foods that nourish the body & mind to promote total wellbeing.
This series gives youth participants basic yet helpful tools to help manage feelings and emotions in stressful situations. The classes guide youth in building a routine of health that supports overall physical, mental and emotional wellness through the practice of mindfulness, deep breathing, yoga, and education.
